After a disapppointing loss last week our very own @PaulSingh22 is back whispering into NFL QB’s ears, here is his thoughts on this weeks spotlights QB.
Last week I was very unlucky not to get the first win off the season with the Cardinals blowing out the Titans which led to Kyler Murray hardly throwing the ball at all during the last quarter, but we move on and this is my take on this weeks QB –

This Week I’m Taking Jalen Hurts to sail over his passing attempts line which is set at 31.5 . I think this number should be around 35.5 for a variety of reasons .
Since becoming the Eagles starter Hurts has hit 35, 20, 39, 44, 30 . The 2 games where he went under there was a valid excuse the 20 was when he was pulled in the debacle against Washington to end last season . The game where he had 30 was against the Saints where he also had a whopping 18 rush attempts , I can’t see him running 18 times against the 49ers.
The Eagles have had over 31.5 pass attempts in 13 of their last 17 games with the totals returning 35, 33 , 39 , 44 , 30 , 27 , 46 , 35 , 37 , 28 , 43 , 40 , 36 , 28 , 47 , 43 ,42 .
The 49ers allowed Jarrad Goff a massive 57 attempts week one however it is difficult to read too much into last seasons numbers as they played most of the season with their second or third string team . The current 49ers team is probably somewhat close to the team of 2019 who allowed an average of 32 pass attempts per game . This number is reduced dramatically from what it should be as one of those games was in a thunderstorm where the QB only had 12 attempts.
Good Luck and lets hope we have better luck than last week!
